I was a Police Officer in West Midlands Police in the 1970s, then left for pastures new before joining the Prison Service at HM Prison Birmingham (Winson Green) in 1987.

I worked at HMP Birmingham for 15 years, then transferred to HMP Hewell Grange (now part of HMP Hewell) in Redditch, Worcestershire. I retired at the end of September 2012 so that I can make the most of my free time by riding my bikes.

I have owned a wide selection of bikes since I started riding at the age of 15, including a number of British, Italian, Eastern European, American and Japanese bikes. I currently own a Harley FXDX Twin Cam 88 Super Glide Sport and a ST1100 Pan European.
